Last Tuesday, December 11, I was invited to attend MEGA Magazine’s Privé Style series featuring the upcoming collection of SM Ladies and SM Accessories… Twas a fun night! Wasn’t actually planning on going, but then everything fell right into place and my friends called me up and I had 10 minutes of wardrobe change and zero HMU hahaha. Anyways… Enjoy the photos.

All in all, it was a great event. I won P1,000 GC from SM Accessories… My first time to win anything at events :) Found out at the event itself also that it was MEGA’s thanksgiving party for 2012. So, I’m glad I was able to go and thankful also for MEGA’s continued success. Such a wonderful team of people and creative minds :) Happy holidays MEGA and may you guys have an ever more prosperous year ahead :)

Last October 9, 2012, I had the privilege of attending an event by my glossy favorite MEGA Magazine for their collaboration with my second home, SM Megamall. I was actually apprehensive at first because I had work that day. I get off, usually, at 5:00 and the event was to start at 6:00 and anyone who commutes from Makati to Ortigas know how Edsa can screw you during rush hour! To cut the long story short, I asked my boss to move my schedule to an earlier shift and I left the office at 2:30 and got there at 3:30.

Anyways, enough with the times and dates and off to the event!

So, I got there a bit too early. So, I decided to grab a sneak peek. Saw the layout of the Atrium. Got a treat with watching the rehearsals too!

Look at all those people watching. And the show hasn’t even started yet!

Moving on. Since I got there a tad bit earlier… okay. Since I got there so early, I had to wait for my blogger friends. Waited for about two hours. It was actually the firsst time I was going to meet the other bloggers. When le blogger friends got there, we grabbed something to eat first from the foodcourt and headed on up for the event. Had to wait again for quite some time before they let us in. We were already picking out places to stay in the area, but sadly got next best area.

Time came when we all had to line up to get our names verified and I was at the back of the line and was surprised when Ms. Elle called me and asked me to enter the area. Wow. I’m really flattered. Thank you Ms. Elle!

There was a portion where you could get your picture taken. Two sections actually.

There were also portions where these cameras would go around and take pictures and videos of guests. Always hoping to get spotted, but my time will come!

Guests were also treated to food. One was the Churos from Dulcinea served by this wonderful man named Aljon. Thank you, kuya for giving us plenty of food!

Churos again for us for being so well behaved during the event. lol.

Saw this beautiful woman. I mean it. I had an instant crush on her! :)

We were waiting for the event to start, this familiar-faced woman asked if she could put down her things on our table… Lycah and I were actually debating who she was and then…

… we looked at the cue cards and… well…

She’s Ms. Issa Liton! I died. I couldn’t really scream at that moment. LOL

We also spotted D+V, one of the cutest couples ever, Divine Lee and Victor Basa!

Also saw Executive Creative Director of MEGA, Sir Suki Salvador!

Also saw Angelo de Cartagena of Mega Fashion Crew Season 1!

Among the people I spotted was my cousin who helped style the Forever21 segment of the show as she is a visual merchandiser of the brand, Erika Tan!

So, the show started and all and you guessed it, Ms. Issa Liton on the stage hosting the show! Haha!

Joining the lovely Ms. Issa Liton is the ever bubbly and fabulous Tim Yap!

After an introduction, Tim and Issa called out SM Megamall’s VP, sir Steve Tan.

They also called out the always beautiful and stylish Publisher and Deputy Editor, Ms. Meryll Yan! I love it when she said “Here in mega, we only do it BIG, we only do it Grand.” which is true and that’ why I love MEGA :)

A few cheers and toasts here and There and the show started!

First up was Forever 21! Hope I got good shots! Sorry for the blurs! This segment was styled by MEGA’s beauty editor, Ms. Kim Palanca.

This pattern and the fit. So Avant Garde yet so far away. Black and gold is elegance all the way!

Next segment was Promod as styled by Ms. Meryll Yan! Stellar and chic as always!

Meanwhile, looking up, so many people were watching…

Next was Cotton on as styled by Sir Suki Salvador. So hip and fresh and creative!

Here’s Hezron Peralta! He’s a blogger and he got the chance to walk the runway! Felt like he belonged as a model in the runway! My bitterness of not winning got overturned by my happiness for him. We bloggers got to support each other! GO HEZRON!

Next up is MEGA’s newest fashion editor, Patrick Galang styled the MANGO segment of the show and the SM Department store segment as well.

Look at the emphasis on his back of this guy! I almost didn’t notice Sir Suki there!

I’m proud of this next shot! Something about it. I don’t know.

After all was said and done. It only left us all with one thing… my favorite thing… Photo-ops!

Here’s Camille with Gerd! Was so shy to approach him and Christine and Angel because I considered them all elites, people who have made it in the industry as bloggers.

Gerd giving me a final smile before we said goodbye. All of them actually were so nice, Angel was so nice too. Unfortunately, didn’t get to meet Christine Liwag of Cravemore.

Got to see Daniel Matsunaga also who was super nice! My picture with him, unfortunately, hasn’t made it to cyberspace yet. Thank goodness. I looked like a super fan, which I am haha! His teeth literally sparkled!

Also saw this woman who, I swear, looked a lot like Jessie Mendiola! Agree?

All in all, the collaboration was a success! It was obvious to everyone how Big and Grand this event was and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for everybody… Oh, wait, I already know what it is!
